Alexandra Sedgwick Alumni Relations Manager
My role consists of managing both alumni relations and the development activities of the Business School.  It is imperative that students and alumni remain connected to the institution and recognise the benefits of doing so. It is my job to promote and communicate those benefits, whether it be to utilise Agora’s exclusive global network of professionals or to encourage continued professional development (CPD). Sarah and I organise suitable CPD and social events, such as Local Association Global Get Togethers, and promote DBS electives and other resources that can assist the careers of our alumni.

Ultimately, the standing and reputation of the School is a reflection on all who have had the pleasure of graduating from Durham Business School. It is for that reason that we encourage alumni to be as pro-DBS as possible and invite you all to become Durham Ambassadors.

Sarah Menday Alumni Co-ordinator
I am the initial point of contact for the Alumni Team. My key responsibilities are assisting in organising events, coordinating the MBA Mentoring Scheme, managing our 32 Agora Local Associations across the world and supporting the ongoing development of the Agora network.





Lynn Thornber Marketing and Development Co-ordinator
My role straddles both Marketing and Alumni and my responsibilities predominantly cover Business School PR-related opportunities. The co-ordinator role focuses on building relationships with external organisations, ensuring consistency of message to all stakeholders and assisting in co-ordinating events to complement wider School activities.
