Suggested wording in your Will

items/ X percent of my residual estate for its general purposes.
Optional: I express the wish, but without creating any
legally-binding obligation, that Durham University use the said bequest
for…….(intended use).
I declare that the receipt of the Registrar and Secretary or
other authorised officer of Durham shall be good and sufficient discharge to my
Executors”

exempt charity under the Charities Act of 1993- Inland Revenue number X 6507
