More than £100,000 has been raised specifically for the Library from this appeal. Critical E-journals, for all three University Faculties, have been purchased with alumni gifts. These journals, which the University was previously unable to afford, will ensure that our students and researchers alike have access to the most up-to-date resources available.Dr Hall, the University Librarian, is thrilled that these sought after resources are coming to Durham: "I continue to be both amazed and delighted by the outstanding generosity of Durham Alumni towards the Library. The funds raised through the Chancellor's appeal will enable the Library to purchase a range of electronic information resources of great value to the University community."
