The 186th Durham Regatta takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June. Collingwood College Boat Club will be hosting an informal barbeque at the Collingwood Boat House in-between the two divisions on Saturday 8 June. Timings of divisions to be announced (keep an eye on it here). This will be a very informal affair and you are more than welcome to pop along on the day, but if you know you will attend, please email so we can let the Boat Club know.

Woodplayers Summer Play – Blackbird by David Harrower

Woodplayers are currently nominated for "Best Theatre Society” at the Palatinate Awards and have chosen Blackbird as their summer play.

Fifteen years ago, Ray and Una were in love. They planned to run away to start a new life together in Europe. Fifteen years ago, Una was twelve and Ray was forty. Now, Una has come back to confront Ray about what he did to her. What follows is an intense discussion about love and abuse, and how the two may be intertwined.

The show will take place Saturday 22 June - 7.30pm, Sunday 23 June - 2.30pm and Monday 24 June - 7.30pm in The Mark Hillery Arts Centre tickets now on sale.

Woodplayers Musical Showcase

Come join the Collingwood Woodplayers in a celebration of a fantastic year with our summer musical showcase! Hot off the heels of our "pitch-perfect production" of a showcase in Michaelmas term, the show is a night of fantastic singing and theatre, demonstrating what the Woodplayers do best: let everyone be part of the fun on stage!

The show will take place in The Mark Hillery Arts Centre on Saturday 22 June - 2.30pm, Sunday 23 June - 7.30pm and Monday 24 June - 2.30pm. Tickets will be on sale shortly here.
