This August, I participated in a conference called Merit360 which aims to encourage young people to tackle the UnitedNational Sustainable Development Goals. I was able to develop my personal skills by working with a group of 10 people. My role was to explore education issues in India and come up with a possible solution for it.
My communication skills were developed by having an interview with an Indian NGO, which made a massive contribution towards to our group research. Additionally, working as a team required strong communication and innovative ideas. At the start of the group meeting, I was a bit shy and felt nervous to express my opinions. Later on, my team members and facilitator encouraged me to speak up freely. Gradually, I was able to share my thoughts which helped our work greatly!
