This is a unique opportunity to work alongside other exceptional Durham University graduates to explore the significant problems facing industry and society. We will surround you with the tools, resources, and connections to help you generate new ideas and launch ventures with the potential to achieve significant impact.
By joining the programme you will:
- Be part of a highly talented community, exploring significant problems and developing new solutions in newly-established teams
- Take part in inspirational visits to global hubs of industry, such as Silicon Valley*
- Engage with world-leading companies and develop a prestigious network of contacts in the UK and beyond
- Receive a monthly stipend to cover your living costs for the first 3 months of the programme
- Have the opportunity to pitch for £10,000 in seed funding for your new venture
- Participate in regular coaching sessions to help drive your new venture forward
- Access mentoring opportunities with entrepreneurs and industry experts from across the global Durham University alumni network
*Subject to Covid-related travel restrictions.
Durham Venture School will start in September 2021 and will run for up to 6 months.
