Grey College Boat Club Charity Auction

As part of our fundraising efforts in support of Grey College Boat Club (GCBC), we will be hosting a charity auction at our London Drinks' Evening on Friday 12th April. Below are a range of the items which will be auctioned on the evening.

We very much look forward to seeing you at the event!

Naming the New Men's Top Four

To the highest bidder we will offer the right to name the brand new men's four boat, once this has been purchased. Your chosen name will be enscribed on the side of the boat, and will serve as the name of the boat for as long as the boat remains part of the GCBC fleet.

GCBC Blades

Having served Grey College Boat Club well, three recently decomissioned GCBC blades will also be available to bid for during the charity auction. Each blade will be auctioned separately.

The range of GCBC branded blades to be auctioned includes two sculling blades, and one sweep blade. These will be available for each lucky bidder respectively to own and display where they wish.

Delivery or pick-up of these items can be arranged with the successful bidder on the evening.

Naming the Existing Women's Top Four

To the highest bidder we will offer the right to name the existing, women's top four boat. Your chosen name will be enscribed on the side of the boat, and will serve as the name of the boat for as long as the boat remains part of the GCBC fleet.

One Made-To-Measure GCBC Blazer

The GCBC blazer is the formal jacket worn by club members at formal sporting events and celebrations. As a one-time offer the Club will be offering one blazer to be bid for at the charity auction. This will be made to measure to the specifications of the successful bidder.

As the piece will be made-to-measure and purchased as new, there will be a minimum reserve for this item.

Other Items

To complement the above items, there will also be a range of other items available to bid on during the evening. These will include; a decomissioned GCBC seat, further naming opportunities, attendance and roles in the launch of the new boat, and more.
