 Geography Alumni Employment Talks

This term, Geography hosted two employment talks to students and was delighted to host members of their alumni to speak to the students about their careers to date.

The department welcomed back Sophie Davison, Tim Walters and Simon Wheeldon in October and Chloe Ballatine, Rose Geater and Dave McDermott who spoke to students in November.

Our alumni spoke to students about how their Geography degree helped to get them where they are now in their careers and also identified some of the key skills they learned during their degree that they now use in their professions.

The department host regular employment talks from alumni which the students find very inspirational. The talks help them to identify potential careers but also highlight the hugely varied careers in to which Geographers can aspire
