What a week! 🇦🇪🇬🇧 GISEC Global for Leading Cyber has been unreal. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received in #Dubai for our leadership development programmes and our mentoring platform. We’ve met some amazing new people in the region, and from around the world, as well as reconnected with many old friends. We’ve got a bit of exciting news that we wanted to share. 🎇🎆🎇 Annabel Berry and I are joining forces as co-founders to launch Leading Cyber - a leadership development and mentoring platform connecting cyber security leaders around the world. If you know either of us, you know we love the world of cyber security. We also love leadership and supporting leaders to be the very best they can be. Putting the two things together seemed obvious to us, particularly when we know that cyber leaders often don’t have all of the leadership skills, mentors or support networks they need to be fully effective and successful in their roles. Leading Cyber will help them to do just that. We’ve got a lot to say about this and you’ll be hearing a lot more from us, but for now we just wanted to share our exciting news! ⭐️🌟Be part of our beta Mentoring Programme ⭐️🌟 On Monday, we’ll be launching our global Leading Cyber Mentoring Programme. A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of joining the Advisory Board at John Snow College JCR ; one of Durham University's colleges. I'm really excited to be able to give back the University and help the next generation of Snow graduates prepare for the world of work. I'm particularly keen to share with them all of the wonderful opportunities that exist for them to live, learn and work in the #NorthEastofEngland beyond graduation. From our exciting #tech and #digital sectors, to our #greenenergy, #advancedmanufacturing and #space industries, there's so much going on. And that's before we start thinking about our new #healthtech and #creative zones the new #NEMCA will bring. It's an exciting time to be up North!
