How to volunteer at Mildert

There are a number of ways that you can volunteer at Van Mildert College:

Become a Careers Mentor

In 2017, Van Mildert College will launch The Mildert Link, a new online careers platform, which aims to connect current students with alumni to share voices of experience.  The platform will allow students to gain an insight into career journeys, recruitment processes, CV development and business start up.  For more information about how to get involved, please visit The Mildert Link.

Deliver a Careers Event

In addition to career mentoring, we would welcome offers to deliver careers events at Van Mildert College.  In particular, we would like to expand our programme of 'In conversation with...' events, which provide a valuable opportunity for our current students to hear experiences of alumni.  If you would like to visit Van Mildert College to present a careers talk or deliver an event, please contact the Deputy Principal, Dr Victoria Brown.

Become a College Mentor

At Van Mildert College, we are fortunate to have an active group of College Mentors, who provide support to current undergraduate students as they settle in to university life.  If you would like to become a College Mentor, please contact the Deputy Principal, Dr Victoria Brown, in the first instance.

Drive the College minibus

Our Outreach Projects are fortunate to have the use of a College minibus for transportation to and from their outreach activities.  However, we are reliant upon a group of dedicated volunteer drivers to provide this transportation.  If you are over 25 and would like to drive the College minibus, please contact the Deputy Principal, Dr Victoria Brown, for further information.
