Durham Alumnus Sponsors Students in China Enterprise Trip

David Arkless, CEO of Arklight Consulting is helping a group of Durham students establish a student-led enterprise trip to meet top businesses in China. Durham members of the China Student Scholars Association are organising the trip which will involve students from five UK universities – Durham, Oxford, Cambridge,
Imperial College and LSE.

Selected students will spend 9 days visiting 17 companies (global corporations and state-owned businesses) in 7 sectors Beijing, Shanghai and Guiyang as well as the universities of Tsing Hua, Peking and Fudan. 

In addition to his role as CEO at ArkLight Consulting, Mr Arkless, a Durham graduate,  is currently a Vice President of the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICPMC) in Beijing.  David joined the Board of Durham University Business School this year and has created the ArkLight Lecture Series for students at the
business school.
