- Joanna Barker MBE (Collingwood), University donor, Chair of Durham University Finance Committee and former Partner in the private equity firm Advent Capital
- Phil Keller (Hatfield), University donor, former Chief Finance and Operating Officer at Intermediate Capital Group and current postgraduate student
- Guy Weldon (Hild Bede), University donor and Chief Investment Officer, Bridgepoint
- Katie Boardman (St Aidan’s), former scholarship recipient and Associate at Clyde & Co
Our scholarships programme is designed to offer support to the next generation of leaders, enabling them to reach their full potential and make an impact on society. The three donors will talk briefly about their own experiences and what moved them to give, and we will hear from Katie as a recipient as she reflects on the impact her scholarship made on her time as a student and graduate. This is designed to be a discursive event, and we welcome questions from the audience.
