Danielle Bartram (Education (Secondary), Ustinov, 2011-12) has published Forty Pence Each Two For a Pound.

Katie Falkingham (Sport, Health & Exercise, Grey, 2012-15) was named Sports Journalist of the Year.

Andrew Hemmings (History, University College, 1965-68) had his book Secret Newport published by Amberley Publishing.

Michael Keigwin (Business Administration, 2005-07) recently collected his MBE at Buckingham Palace for his contribution to wildlife conservation. 

Congratulations to William Oldroyd  (Theology, St Cuthbert's Society, 1999-2002) whose film ‘Lady Macbeth’ recently scooped five British Independent Film Awards.

Simon Ratsey (Geography, Hatfield, 1965-68) has published 
The Little Blog of Lucanus.

David Roche (Psychology, Hatfield, 1980-83) has published The Lyrical Loo Book of the Year - Just Where You Left It - Family Rhymes for Modern Times.

Hector Strickland (Economics & Finance, Stephenson, 2009-12) is involved in  the Talisker Atlantic Challenge next year, rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean for charity. 

Robert Swan (General Studies, St Chad's, 1976-79) and his son will embark on a new South Pole challege.

Leah Tether (Modern Languages, University College, 1999-2003) has published Publishing the Grail in Medieval and Renaissance France.

Tristan Watson (Psychology, St John's, 2001-04) and Richard Carter (Software Engineering, Collingwood, 2006-09) feature in the North East LEP's #LiveWorkandStay campaign. You can see their stories here.
