Student Opportunities Fund breaks £2.6M in donations

Over the past month, 35 student callers have contacted more than 1,100 Durham alumni by telephone to raise money for our Student Opportunities Fund (SOF). Thanks to alumni generosity, a record £245K has been raised in pledges towards the Fund which has supported over 2,000 students since its inception in 1994.

Sincere and heartfelt thanks to all our alumni and friends whose financial contributions will mean so much to the students being supported by this Fund. You can also read Holly’s story who was supported by the SOF to participate in a life-changing project.
