Dunelm Days in Dublin

Friday 18 November 2022

Join Durham Ambassador James Doody (Education, 2005) in Dublin for a tour of the world famous Guiness Brewery followed by a gathering in the The Brazen Head Pub (which is officially Ireland's oldest pub, dating back to 1198).

The group are meeting at the entrance of the Distillery at 4.15pm for the 4.30pm tour. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to share Durham stories over drinks at the Brazen Head from 6.30pm.

Whether you are local to Dublin or are simply visiting the area, come and join the group for a night of nostalgia and an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new connections!

If you wish to attend the tour and drinks or would prefer to just attend one part of the evening, please register your place online using the 'Booking' tab above.  We will ask you to confirm your attendance at the tour and/ or drinks following the booking. Please note there is a cost of 26 Euro to attend the tour.

Events and Covid-19

The health and wellbeing of our alumni and supporter community is our utmost priority as we begin to see the return of in-person events. We look forward to seeing you again at events around the world organised and hosted by dedicated volunteers from the Durham community. The University asks all event attendees to follow local government Covid-19 guidance, as appropriate at the time of the event, as well as any other measures imposed by the event organiser and venue as they see fit to protect the health and wellbeing of guests.
