Three talks showcasing the breadth of Durham’s research and teaching, with

Professor Sue Black OBE
Professor of Computer Science and Technology Evangelist. Leader of the campaign to save Bletchley Park. Founder of BCSWomen, the network for women in tech, and #techmums, a social enterprise that empowers mothers through technology.

Dr Kate O’Brien
Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Programme Director MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice. Co-facilitator of Inside-Out, a ground-breaking approach to teaching that takes place in prisons.

Scott Bannister
PhD student in the Music Department researching the phenomenon of musical chills. Graduate teaching assistant in Psychology of Music and Music and Science.

At Sarasin & Partners LLP, Juxon House, 100 St Paul’s Churchyard, EC4M 8BU, by kind permission. Refreshments will be served mid-way through the event.

This event is a celebration of Durham University legacy donors and is open to all supporters and friends, giving an opportunity to engage with Durham’s inspiring, transformative research and teaching.
