Guidelines for Joining Online Events
Most of our online events will be on Zoom.When you have registered for an event, you will be sent a link. Please follow this link invite to join the event at the given date and time.
A few pointers for joining events:• Please mute your microphone when you are not speaking;• Make sure your name is displayed next to your video so we know who you are!;• Make sure that you are in a well-lit area and that your face is clearly visible;• Got a question or a thought? Raise your hand or type into the Chat box. A moderator will acknowledge your question and unmute you at an appropriate time.Please note that many events will be recorded for potential future distribution (if you don't want to be recorded you can turn off your microphone and camera).Unanswered questions in the chat box will be used to determine topics for future calls, as well as additions to the resources that Durham University is providing.
