What if I don't know anybody?
Don't worry! There are a number of people who attend these events alone and go on to meet new people and have a wonderful evening. I will be the host on the evening so if you're struggling, come and find me and I'll introduce you. 
It would be great if you could spread the word about this event to any other alumni that you know in London. You can see who else has registered on the event webpage.  

Who will be there?
This event is for people who have recently left Durham University and now live in or around London and want to catch up with old friends, make new connections and learn more about life in London. This is an inclusive event and we welcome former undergrads, postgrads, exchange students and those who didn't graduate, from all colleges and departments.

Will this help me get a job?
We can't guarantee a new job, but you will certainly expand your network which can help in the future. Connections have been made at past events which have been incredibly useful when applying to new roles.

How much does it cost?
The event is free to attend and with a welcome drink upon arrival if you register online. After the arrival drinks you can buy drinks at the bar so it is up to you how much you choose to spend.

I just started my career and am in a junior role. Does this matter?
Not at all! This event is aimed at people who recently left Durham, so it is likely that a number of guests will also be in the early stages of their careers.  

I can't get there until after 6.30pm. Is this ok?
Yes of course. This event is really informal and we tend to stay until around 9.30pm so just join us when you can. If you can't find the group, give me a call on 07952 333 990.
