We find it easy to be proud of the extraordinary people we have at Durham. We provide the inspiration, they achieve the extraordinary.

Stewardship Coordinator - Finance

The post of Stewardship Coordinator (Finance) sits within Advancement Service's stewardship team, working closely with colleagues across DARO and the wider university to help ensure long-term meaningful relationships with donors are nurtured and maintained. It is an important and valued function. With others, the team helps ensure donations to Durham are managed diligently and spent responsibly and according to the donor’s wishes. The team plays a key role in stewarding mass appeals and annual giving, but also develops and implements personalised stewardship plans for major donors and ensures all donations, whatever level, are acknowledged and recognised appropriately.

The Stewardship Coordinator (Finance) reports to the Stewardship Officer. This role requires someone who can plan and organise their own workload to help deliver a high volume and varied service function. You need to be methodical, diligent and a natural team player, with a supportive and positive mind-set. There will be opportunities for you to explore new stewardship initiatives and programmes to help us improve our service.
