What was the most valuable lesson you learnt whilst at Durham?
Effort and persistence is a winner at the end. Quality of life and closeness to nature helps a lot!

What are your fondest memories of Durham?
Arriving for the first time. The quality of life and small society benefits. Peace and serenity of Palace Green outside Term Times.

What kind of people make up the Durham alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals?
A few locals and mainly expatriates.

What inspired you to sign up as an alumni volunteer?
Keep the spirit and offer something (little) back. Networking and helping each other opportunities.

What do you love most about your current location?
Transportation hub. Closeness to the UK where my son lives. Multicultural society. Expats community is large here.
