What are your fondest memories of Durham?
I remember with pleasure the college pub and the animated cultural exchanges flowing over many pints of the lovely Caledonian brew I discovered there.

What kind of people make up the Durham alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals?
Given my business interests, I get to spend my time equally between Bucharest and Calgary. The Durham alumni, in both cities, tend to be locals, or at least the ones with whom I manage to keep in contact.  

What inspired you to sign up as an alumni volunteer?
The belief that people who have shared schools possess a degree of like mindedness which should be cherished and nourished to foster continuing success in their personal lives and careers. Organising regular get-togethers might help fulfil that promise, or will ensure that have a jolly good time together trying.
