Join us on Zoom for a panel discussion chaired by our Head of Computer Science, Professor Gordon Love, who will be welcoming two successful alumni entrepreneurs to discuss how their businesses have impacted the sporting world.


Steve Carter – BSc Physics, Hatfield, 2001

Steve was formerly the Managing Director of Hawk-Eye Innovations, a leading innovator in sports technology. Hawk-Eye's vision processing, video replay, and creative graphical technologies have been employed in a variety of sports to make them fairer and more engaging, and continue to be used in thousands of games each year across the world. Steve graduated from Hatfield College with a degree in Physics in 2001.


Aidan Cooney - BA Archaeology, Hild Bede, 1995


Aidan is the CEO and Co-Founder of InCrowd Sports, a sports technology company specializing in mobile fan engagement and sponsorship generation. Prior to InCrowd, Aidan has worked on several successful ventures focusing on the visualisation of sports performance data. He graduated from Hild Bede in 1995 with a degree in Archaeology.
