We currently have three priorities that are especially in need of support:1. The 175 Lecture Series – we launched a series of prestigious academic talks in September 2015, attracting talent from across the world to share their knowledge, experiences and opportunities with all members of our community. Your continued support will help us develop the programme further. 2. The Hild Bede Hardship Fund – the College is eager to establish a hardship fund to assist those not accommodated for by current college and university resources. Although open to various cases of hardship, the fund would support lecture transport for the temporarily ill or disabled, emergency prescription charges, emergency travel fund for students who need to leave Durham temporarily at short notice due to personal circumstances etc.3. Refurbishment of The Weston Computer Room – traditionally funded by alumni, we are looking to update our extra study spaces so that our students have more rooms to study comfortably in, with the most modern equipment. Please consider giving to these funds in particular if you are interested in supporting College.
