Event organisers

Many alumni support the University, and fellow alumni, by assisting with our regional, national and international programme of events. It is vital to have someone on the ground checking out venues, making arrangements and encouraging local alumni to meet and support each other. 

Our work is varied and we support a diverse range of alumni groups. Some of our associations are legally recognised, independent bodies. Some are supported directly by the university. Depending on which group you become involved with, you may be asked to sign a volunteer statement.  
 
We have volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, around the world from Stockton to Brisbane! We are always looking to bring more enthusiastic alumni on board, so whether we have a volunteer in your area or not, please contact Volunteer Development Officer on alumni.volunteer@durham.ac.uk.
