The importance of good friends who support and encourage you through thick and thin and remain friends for life

What are your fondest memories of Durham?
Time spent with friends; learning to row; helping to run sport at the University through the Athletic Union; watching Durham teams play sport; enjoying the beauty of the City and in particular the Cathedral; trips into the countryside

What kind of people make up the Durham alumni community in your area? Are they expatriates or locals?
Extremely varied from young to less young; recent graduates to retired alumni; mainly expatriates, but also some locals

What inspired you to sign up as an alumni volunteer?
The desire to promote the University; and to meet/network with other alumni

What do you love most about your current location?
Paris is a very beautiful city!
