Most recent event: Durham Alumni evening in Beijing - 1 December 2014

What was the most valuable lesson you learnt whilst at Durham?
Durham has deepened my faith that inspires myself to always pursue new knowledge and skills, to understand, explore and study this miraculous world, physically and spiritually.

What are your fondest memories of Durham?
I love the smell of books through shelves standing in lines, especially from those aged dictionaries and reference books seldom touched by students. I love every moment spending in the library typing essays on laptop, or hiding behind shelves combing through a random pick.

What inspired you to sign up as an alumni volunteer?
The alumni party has brought the Durham warmth currently less experienced in Beijing  than in  Shanghai. Inspired by speeches from Mr Van Dyk and Professor Higgins, I realised  that by contributing several minutes per day, I might help Durham to build a better community for alumni in Beijing. Why not give a hand to create a warm home base of alma mater?
