Congratulations to Ying Ji (International Trade & Commercial Law, Ustinov College, 2004-06) who made it to the final for the Professional Achievement Award with the Study UK Alumni Awards.

Gavin Murphy (Law, Graduate Society, 1997-98) donated $500,000 to the Ottawa Hospital to further cancer research.

Entrepreneur Joanna Park-Tonks (Arts Combined, University College, 1996-00) is launching Chelsea Rocks - a collection of jewellery made exclusively from lab-grown diamonds.

Marcus Paul (Arts Combined, St John's College, 1970-73) has published his second book Ireland to the Wild West: A True Story of Romance, Faith, Tragedy, and Hope.

Peter Preston (Computing, Hatfield College, 1988-91) has published many books, one of his novels Corridor Dance is set in Durham University.

Stuart Rochester (Theology, Graduate Society, 2000) book Self-Denial: A New Testament View has been published.

Dani Watson (Arts Combined, Josephine Butler College, 2013-16) and Kitty Ball (Physics, Collingwood College, 2011-13) have beem selected as up-and-coming talent in New Creatives North.
