    Funding the Future Now

    50 Years of Alumni Support

The ’66 Club exists to make Trevelyan matter: encouraging current students to champion the causes that matter to them, and enabling them to make a tangible difference in the wider world. The opportunity to study at Durham University and to become a member the unique community which Trevelyan offers is a rare one. However, this doesn’t mean that our special community should be restricted to our members, and we want our students to contribute as widely and richly outside of college as possible, making Trevelyan matter in the wider world and gaining valuable personal development in the process. You regular gifts of £19.66 or £66.00 could fund:

  • research internships and conference attendance, where students will contribute to the wider academic community
  • philanthropic endeavours in the local community and abroad
  • professional development opportunities in areas of public service
    and so much more..

Our students never fail to surprise us with their ingenuity, and we want to be able to help them succeed with whatever challenges they set themselves.

Building Projects

We have recently completed a brand new gym, and will start work this year on our landscaped Garden of Reflection. We are also in the process of developing a library extension, and renovation of the Cobbles.

Student Development Opportunities

Your time at Trevs was about much more than your degree, and wouldn't have been the same if it hadn't been for the many personal and professional development opportunities that College provides. If you'd like to contribute more than the '66 Club scheme allows, then why not get in touch and ask about giving options for named (or anonymous) non-academic student development awards.
